What we offer

We offer a variety of session times to provide maximum flexibility for families. This includes term-time only or year-round care with breakfast, morning, afternoon and early evening sessions.

We accept government-funded hours for eligible children.

This includes:

  • Universal funded hours (15 hours) available to all 3- and 4-year-olds

  • Extended funded hours (an additional 15 hours) for children of eligible working families (making up to 30 funded hours in total)

  • ‘Early Learning for 2 year olds’ funding

  • 15 hours term-time:

    • 5 x 8.50am – 11.50am (5 short mornings)

    • 2 x 8.50am – 2.50pm and 1 x 8.50am – 11.50am (2 short days and 1 short morning)

    • 1 x 8.00am – 6.00pm and 1 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm (1.5 days)

    • 3 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm (3 half days with any combination of AM or PM sessions)

    30 hours term-time:

    • 5 x 8.50am – 2.50pm (5 short days)

    • 3 x 8.00am – 6.00pm (3 days)

    • 1 x 8.00am – 6.00pm and 4 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm (1 full day and 4 half days with any combination of AM or PM sessions)

  • 15 hours stretched:

    • 1 x 8.00am – 6.00pm plus 1 hour 41 minutes from 8.00am or 1.00pm (1 full day and then option to leave after funded hours or to pay for remainder of half or full day)

    • 2 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm plus 1 hour 41 minutes from 8.00am or 1.00pm (2 half days and then option to leave after funded hours or to pay for remainder of half or full day)

    30 hours stretched:

    • 2 x 8.00am – 6.00pm plus 3 hours 21 minutes from 8.00am or 1.00pm (2 full days and then option to leave after funded hours or to pay for remainder of half or full day)

    • 4 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm plus 3 hours 21 minutes from 8.00am or 1.00pm (4 half days and then option to leave after funded hours or to pay for remainder of half or full day)

    • 1 x 8.00am – 6.00pm, 2 x 8.00am – 1.00pm/1.00pm – 6.00pm plus 3 hours 21 minutes from 8.00am or 1.00pm (1 full day, 2 half days and then option to leave after funded hours or to pay for remainder of half or full day)

Parents can also choose to take up fewer hours (either because they don’t wish to use their full allocation or are splitting their funding with another provider) as we don’t enforce a minimum number of funded hours to be taken with us.

Our fees

Here you’ll find our fees per session for non-funded hours.

    • 3-hour session (short morning): 8.50am – 11.50am, £21.85, TTO.

    • 6-hour session (short day): 8.50am – 2.50pm, £43.70, TTO.

    • Breakfast Club (paid-for “bolt-on” session for short morning or short day sessions): 8.00am – 8.50am, £8.25, TTO.

    • Full day: 8.00am – 6.00pm, £78.90, TT or YR.

    • AM: 8.00am – 1.00pm, £40.65, TT or YR.

    • PM: 1.00pm – 6.00pm, £39.40, TT or YR.

    For children attending year-round, parents can choose to pay for children to stay after remaining stretched funded hours. The cost for this addition time is as follows:

    • 1 hour 39 minutes AM (11.21am – 1.00pm): £13.41

    • 1 hour 39 minutes PM (4.21pm – 6.00pm): £13.00

    • 6 hours 39 minutes (11.21am – 6.00pm): £52.47

    • 3 hours 19 minutes AM (9.41am – 1.00pm): £26.99

    • 3 hours 19 minutes PM: (2.41pm – 6.00pm): £26.16

    • 8 hours 19 minutes: (9.41am – 6.00pm): £65.64

    • 3-hour session (short morning): 8.50am – 11.50am, £20.50, TTO.

    • 6-hour session (short day): 8.50am – 2.50pm, £40.95, TTO.

    • Breakfast Club (paid-for “bolt-on” session for short morning or short day sessions): 8.00am – 8.50am, £5.70, TTO.

    • After-school full session (paid-for “bolt-on” session for short day sessions): 2.50pm – 6.00pm, £21.65, TTO.

    • After-school short session (paid-for “bolt-on” session for short day sessions): 2.50pm – 4.15pm, £9.70, TTO.

    • Full day: 8.00am – 6.00pm, £68.25, TT or YR

    • AM: 8.00am – 1.00pm, £34.65, TT or YR

    • PM: 1.00pm – 6.00pm, £34.15, TT or YR

    For children attending year-round, parents can choose to pay for children to stay after remaining stretched funded hours. The cost for this addition time is as follows:

    • 1 hour 39 minutes AM (11.21am – 1.00pm): £11.43

    • 1 hour 39 minutes PM (4.21pm – 6.00pm): £11.27

    • 6 hours 39 minutes (11.21am – 6.00pm): £45.39

    • 3 hours 19 minutes AM (9.41am – 1.00pm): £23.01

    • 3 hours 19 minutes PM (2.41pm – 6.00pm): £22.68

    • 8 hours 19 minutes (9.41am – 6.00pm): £56.78

Consumables and food

Parents of children attending the short morning and short day sessions need to provide consumables (e.g. nappies), plus a packed lunch if attending the short day. For all other sessions these are included.

  • Your child will receive a healthy breakfast at the start of the session. Please ensure that you provide sufficient nappies and consumables to cover both this session and your child’s main session.

  • Your child will receive a healthy snack in session. Please provide them with a named water bottle, as well as any nappies and other consumables that may be required during their session.

  • We will re-fill your child’s water bottle as necessary but please ensure that you provide sufficient nappies and consumables to also cover their time in this session.

  • Healthy snacks and nutritious meals will be provided for your child as well as any consumables that are required during their session.

Please note:

  • A 10% discount is applicable to year-round bookings of five full days per week. This discount still applies if some of the week is made up of funded sessions.

  • The following written notice periods will apply to leave ACE Early Years, to cancel a confirmed place at ACE Early Years, or to reduce the number of sessions being taken:

    • Funded hours: 2 weeks

      If you move your child to another provider before this period finishes you must pay any fees to the new provider, as they cannot claim for your child’s funding until this period ends

    • Paid-for hours: 1 month

      If notice is not given then you will be liable to one month’s fee in lieu of notice, from the date of leaving or from date of notification, whichever is the earliest

  • For all applications, except those taking up “Early Learning for 2 Year Olds” places, there is a deposit of £20.00. Please enclose this with your registration form.

    If you are taking up a fully funded place then you will be refunded this amount. If you are paying for any of your child’s sessions this will be deducted from your first invoice.

  • Bar any paid-for sessions, late fees (£10.00 per every 15 minutes) or returned payments from the bank (£10.00 per returned payment), no other charges will be applied.
